Getting Around
TrueGrade groups everything in a menu down the side of the screen (on a phone, tap the menu button to open it). As a field user, most of your work lives in just two groups: Field and Time.
Your Menu at a Glance
| Group | What’s inside | You use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Field | Field Board, Field Reports, Project Notes | Logging the day and tracking issues |
| Time | My Week, Timesheets | Your hours |
| Daily Docs | Shared job-site documents |
Field
- Field Board — the running list of field issues: things to fix, verify, or follow up on.
- Field Reports — your daily reports.
- Project Notes — quick observations and photos.
Time
- My Week — a snapshot of your week’s time at a glance.
- Timesheets — where you clock in and out and submit your hours.
Daily Docs
Shared documents for the job. You can open these from the standalone Daily Docs item in your menu.
You’ll only see the menu items your role can use. If someone describes a screen you don’t have, it may be limited to supervisors or the office — see Permissions.
Finding Things Fast
- New timesheet: Time → Timesheets → New Timesheet
- New daily report: Field → Field Reports → New Report
- New note: Field → Project Notes → New Note
On a phone, add TrueGrade to your home screen so it opens like an app. See Mobile & Offline.
