Field User Guide

Welcome. This guide is for people working in the field — the crew, foremen, and anyone logging what happens on the job site. It’s written to be read on a phone, with plain steps and no jargon.

If you do three things in TrueGrade, they’re probably these:

• Log your time — clock in, clock out, done. See Timesheets.
• File the daily report — the record of the day’s conditions and work. See Daily Reports.
• Jot a quick note — a single observation with a photo. See Project Notes.

How Submitting Works

Timesheets, daily reports, and project notes all follow the same simple rhythm:

1. Fill it in — only a few fields are required; the rest are optional.
2. Save a draft any time if you’re not done.
3. Review — TrueGrade shows you a clean summary to check.
4. Confirm — once you submit, it becomes the official record.

That review step is there so you can catch a mistake before it’s locked in. It’s covered in Review & Correct.
